Want a cool place to eat and hang out that isn't going to kill your wallet? Try these tested
youth-friendly places: Heritage Coffee Company Locations: 174 South Franklin Street (Between the library and the movie theater downtown) OR
5th Street (Across from Wells Fargo and next to Subway downtown) Hours: 6am to 7pm Monday through Friday What
it offers: Heritage is a hotspot to hang out at if you enjoy soft leather couches, hot, caffeinated (or not) drinks
and wireless internet. Pel' Meni Location: In the Merchant's Wharf. Hours: These can be tricky. Usually
open between 11am or 11:30am and 2:30am or 3am. What it offers: If you find yourself out of your
house late at night, and you have a craving for Indie music (or any of the hundreds of vinyl records), spicy (or not!), beef
(or potato!) dumplings and a relaxed open environment, this is the place for you! Costa's Diner Location: Across from Pel' Meni in the Merchant's Wharf Hours: Usually
breakfast and lunch hours. What it offers: Costa's is the ultimate choice restaurant. There is no real menu,
so you tell the cook what you want and she cooks it. There is not exactly a set price either, so you pay as you can. Wild
Spice Location: Up the hill from the downtown McDonalds, on the same side of the street and
on the same block. 140 Seward St. Hours: 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, 11am to 10pm Friday and
Saturday. What it offers: Wild Spice is another great place for picking exactly what you want. For a set

Hand your mound over to the cooks and watch them cook it up for you in a matter of minutes.
