Rate It Yourself!   See What People Said

Okay, so it's not all fun and games. There's some volunteer work too, but that can be fun! Meet new people, have a good time, get some positive recognition. Who knows, maybe win an award!

---------------------------

There is a "Calendar of Events" near the beginning of the ACS phone book with information on some of the major and annual events in Juneau.

United Way recently launched www.JuneauYouth.org with an up to date, age sorted calendar plus a great list of "other resources".

Every Thursday, the Juneau Empire has a calendar of the weeks events, also available under the "Arts and Culture" section of their website. The Capital City Weekly also puts out a calender of events happening "Around Town".

The best new calendar in town is the KRNN/JAHC calendar available from either website with tons of stuff happening every day. You can even add this calendar to your Google calender to quickly see it from your phone by adding juneauartscouncil@gmail.com

Perseverance Theatre

The trick is, you get to help out, do something cool and interesting, meet all the stars, AND you get free tickets to the performances. They always need help. 364-2421

Zach Gordon Youth Center
Downtown in the same parking lot as Centennial Hall and Bullwinkle's Pizza, across the street from the State Museum and the State Office Building. Youth Groups
Laugh, eat, sing, play, meet people. Not all, but many churches have youth groups... and all youth groups are a little different.
